“Where are you from?” This most basic of questions when meeting someone new has always been difficult for me to answer. Should I say where I was born? (North Africa) My nationality? (American). Or maybe where I grew up? (France). Maybe the right answer is where my parents lived for most of my life (Philadelphia), or I should rather mention where I’ve lived the majority of my adult life (Poland). The reality is that all of those answers are true.
My name is Carol Schlorff, and I’ve been living in Cracow, Poland, since 1990. I help in the Second Baptist Church by doing such things as teaching English, organizing summer language camps, leading Bible studies, and anything else that might be needed. My latest endeavor is this blog, which I hope and pray will be a blessing to you.
