About Me

For the last several years, Carol has embarked on the exciting journey of writing. She started this blog to encourage the readers in their faith. She also wrote her first novel for middle graders, How to Kill a Giant, which she hopes to publish in 2022. Her passion is to make the Bible understandable and applicable to everyday life – probably because it has helped her so much.

Carol has always felt like an outsider. She was born in North Africa to American parents and grew up in France. At the age of 15, her family abruptly moved to the Philadelphia area due to her mother’s deteriorating health. Her transition to American life while going to high school was challenging, to say the least.

After graduating from Penn State, Carol joined the Army in search of adventure. She was stationed in exotic – for her – locations like California, Arizona, and Texas. When her time was up, she set off for Chicago to spend a year at Moody Bible Institute.

Since then, Carol has been living in Cracow, Poland, where she teaches English to adults and organizes language camps during the summer. Her goal for this blog is to show that the Bible has the answers to the questions of the human heart and is applicable for us today, even in our modern world.

Carol enjoys taking care of her cat, Tabasco, visiting new places (except during a pandemic), watching a good murder mystery, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles – regardless of their record.
