About Me
For the last several years, Carol has embarked on the exciting journey of writing. She started this blog to encourage readers in their faith. She wrote her first action and adventure novel for middle graders, How to Kill a Giant, which will be published by Elk Lake Publishing Inc in 2023. Her passion is to make the Bible understandable and applicable to everyday life—probably because it has helped her so much.
Carol has always felt like an outsider. She was born in North Africa to American parents and grew up in France. At age 15, her family abruptly moved to the Philadelphia area due to her mother’s deteriorating health. Her transition to American life while attending a new high school didn’t go smoothly.
After graduating from Penn State, Carol joined the Army in search of adventure. She was stationed in exotic—for her—locations like California, Arizona, and Texas. When her time was up, she set off for Chicago to spend a year at Moody Bible Institute.
Since then, Carol has been living in Cracow, Poland, where she teaches English to adults and organizes language camps during the summer. Her goal for this blog is to show that the Bible has the answers to the questions we all have and applies to us today, even in our modern world.
Carol enjoys taking care of her cat, Tabasco, visiting new places, watching a good murder mystery, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles—whether they win the Super Bowl or not.
