An Interesting Pizza Topping

Translation is an art that isn’t for the faint of heart. The tendency to translate literally causes many misunderstandings, but when it happens on a restaurant menu, it can prompt a potential customer to walk right out the door. An unfortunate translation I have encountered more than once is the following enticing menu item:

“Fungi pizza.”

I’m sure that really gets your mouth watering!
